In 2014, Desyra transitioned to the Higher Education space and serves as Director of Talent Management for William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ where she oversees Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Professional and Organizational Development and Employee Engagement of both faculty and staff. Desyra has crafted and launched an employee rewards and recognition program that is discussed in this podcast. Her creative approach to impacting organizational culture won her the Innovation Award from William Paterson University’s Director’s Council.
